SUMMER VIBES MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Summer Vibes Music Festival is a free one-day annual event in downtown Franklin, Kentucky in August
co-presented by Franklin-Simpson Renaissance and Simpson County Tourism Commission. I have worked with the festival since its inception in 2020 as a marketing professional, band booker, and hospitality coordinator.

Hospitality Coordinator
I work as the point-of-contact for our celebrity emcees as well as the management team for our lead-up and headlining bands. As a hospitality coordinator, I manage organizing the band green rooms according to band Ryder requirements and handle all clean up efforts following the festival. The stage manager works closely with me throughout the day to provide updates on stage timing and any challenges or changes that need to be made. In the cases of meet-and-greets, I help organize a safe and efficient process for fans and artists.

Marketing & Booking Bands
This music festival combines two of my deep loves - brand marketing and discovering new bands.
Weekend or weekday you will find me at a music venue. I get just as excited to see an opening act as I do the main show. I mentally take notes of underground and local bands, particularly in the Nashville area but other cities, too. I look at building the lineup as a music fan first and foremost. After each festival event I love to poll our social media fans asking what they liked most, which bands they discovered and plan to follow next. That interaction gives me the fuel to continue to nerd out on who we can get next. I credit my success to being a resilient fan in a social media driven world. I'm not afraid to reach out and invite any band or emcee to join our VIBE.
On the marketing end, I handle social media content calendar planning and posting, our influencer partnership program and accompanied communications, media promotion and poster distribution, and day of festival activities and branding initiatives i.e. merchandise additions, festival temporary tattoos, and photo op stations.
